Question #2:

Do you get foot pain and knee pain from crocs?

I have never had this issue before but I have been wearing my crocs (with the lining) daily for months and my heels hurt when I walk on them without my shoes and my knees ache every night.

Question #3:

Do you like the Croc shoes or are they sandals, either way do you like them?

Question #4:

yikes. what would you do?!?

my boss bought me some red crocs as a Christmas present. he gave them to me today because h'es been out of town.
now.. i HATE crocs and i think they're the UGLIEST things ever.
and he was so proud of himself and made me wear them around the restaurant and everyone was saying how i should wear them and how great they looked. our normal work shoes are black and on Fridays we wear pink shirts [for breast cancer awareness :) ] and so as you can imagine, i looked ridiculous.
i have to go back to work tonight and he wants me to wear them.

i can't stand the sight of them.

what would you do in this situation!?
well of course i said thank you to him!
it's not like i was like "ew take these back"

Question #5:

So the river mud swallowed my friend's light blue crocs...?

Well you see, yesterday my friend and I decided to take an "adventure" into the river (Halifax River) because the tide was really low, right? Well, this river is really murky and brown and apparently the mud is really gooshy. So, she put on some light blue crocs and I had on some water shoes. She went out in front of me and before we knew it we were both stuck. Our shoes had gotten sucked in like atleast three inches deep in like five seconds. So, we both kicked our shoes off and ran back to her dock. A couple minutes later we went back down with no shoes on and managed to grab my pair of water shoes. However, her shoes got sucked completely under and we couldn't find them. We searched for like two hours and we tried everything - we dug around the area with a pooper scooper (LOL), we felt with our feet and hands, we sprayed the area with a hose on high pressure, we scooped the muck out with a net, we tried EVERYTHING! But...we couldn't find them, the muck was too deep (like...eightish inches?) to search through all of it. Then this morning we looked there from the dock but the tide had come back in and the area was covered in like six inches of water I guess (that's when the tide is still pretty low...) Any ideas on how we can find her shoes? Thanks!!!
We also threw an egg that we drew a face and hair and a body on along with a message in a bottle detailing our predicament into the river. The egg was named Eggy and we sent him to find the crocs.
I also sliced my big toe and heel open with the shell bottom under the muck in the river...

Question #6:

Which shoes are the worse: crocs, beaver creeks, or uggs?

Now I hate all three shoes with passion; but I think crocs definitely take the trophy of being the WORSE shoes on this planet.
Beaver creeks are like the slip ons they almost look like house shoes. They kind of look like a potato, and they usually come in brown or gray. There are even velvet red ones, type it in google images. OH THE HORROR!!! lol

Question #7:

Culinary arts career plus fibromyalgia?

Firstly, if you don't know what fibromyalgia is and/or have no personal experience with it....then there's really no point in answering the question because I can't explain everything that comes along with the disorder here in this small space. Secondly, it would help to explain my fibro level: comparitively, I'm "highly functioning"; I take no prescription meds anymore for fibro...I found an all natural herbal called Activive; I try to adhere to a certain sleeping schedule and low stress look on life to help reduce my symptoms (it's amazing what taking things with a grain of salt will do for you lol); compartively, I dont have flare-ups very often...maybe once every 3 months?.

I've recently made the decision to forego a forensic science degree and transfer to a culinary arts college. I love food and everything about it....I have a deep passion for cooking and have rolled the idea of a culinary arts career around in my mind for a few yrs now.

However, I have fibromyalgia. I did take this into consideration while trying to make my decision. Over the years, I've bounced back and forth about the idea and finally decided that with proper shoes and adhering to my lifestyle changes, I'd be able to do it...if I just set my mind to it.

Over the last few days, though, I've become very frustrated. :( I've been in the kitchen cooking quite a bit, for long periods of time...and my feet are killing me (even with wearing my Chef Crocs :( ), my joints are stiff as all get out, my head's killing me, I'm nauseated, and I generally feel shaky and weak (typical fibro "flare up" symptoms). It's frustrating because I'm beginning to wonder if I'm being too naive about being able to just "put my mind to it" and still fulfill my dream of being a chef with fibro. I'm wondering if anyone out there who knows about fibro and culinary arts who can give me some insight? Tips? Am I looking through rose colored glasses...can it be done? Of course, no one wants to tell someone, hey you just cant do this...but I also have to be realistic. Sometimes, health issues limit your abilities, no matter how much you dont want to let them. Or maybe there's an adjustment period for my body to get a bit more used to the rise in activity? After a while, maybe certain muscles will strengthen after being used more often for standing or what not?

Thanks for the insight, opinions, tips, etc.
I'm thinking that maybe instead of a restaurant chef, I should opt for a career as a personal chef? I like the idea of the hours and working environment...but can one be a personal chef right out of the gate (with a degree from Le Cordon Bleu?), or do you need experience first before you can become certified as a personal chef?

Question #16:

I'm looking for red high heels covered with black lace.?

I am looking for a pair of red high heels covered in black lace. I have a dress that is red and covered with red lace. I would love to find a pair of shoes that look like they were made for this dress.
The style of shoe I like is about a 3 inch heel and a peep toe would be over the top! I would like to spend $75 or less on the shoes, and a small embellishment would be ok too.
I would like to be able to purchase the shoes over the internet, because I am in the military and stationed over seas and not able to get to most she stores that are available in the US.
I will include a few links to pictures of shoes that I like, and would like the shoes to have about the same style.
I know I could just wear some black high heels, or some red ones may look nice, but like I mentioned above I would love some shoes that look like they were made for this dress.
